CoverSignal AI was an experiment in using AI automation to generate weekly NFL picks against the spread, on the moneyline, and on totals. Each game got its own prompts, and every pick went through a proofing stage before it became final.

The project is now retired. It was a failed experiment.

Why it failed

• It never got a paying customer. Paid memberships were built and switched on, but no one ever subscribed.
• The picks refresh was unreliable. The weekly updates often stalled or came out incomplete, and keeping picks complete took repeated fixes.
• It was costly to run. The background worker used a lot of memory and CPU. It kept running into its memory limit and had to be throttled, and every weekly run also paid for AI requests.

With no customers and real running costs, there was no reason to keep it going.
